What a dream it was to shoot this wedding in Yosemite. Not only was this my first elopement there but it was my first time ever being there.

When Amanda first reached out I think I almost peed my pants and cried from being so excited and nervous in anticipation waiting to officially be hired.

Once she hired me I dove into all the research about the Yosemite National Park and eloping there. It ended up being everything I could have imagined and more.

We got permits and before they arrived I scouted all the stuff I had researched to make sure I knew the game plan.

My favorite part was this badass couple hiking in snow barefoot up to Taft Point. Amanda didn’t come prepared for hiking but was so down. About halfway we had to cross a little snow melt river and she lost a shoe so she kept going barefoot. Shortly after, Pearson took his shoes off in solidarity, crazy love right?!

Anyway, they shared their vows at the perfect golden moments away from all the other tourists and we got some epic shots along the way and on Taft Point.
